Knock. Knock.

“HEY!  I’ll get the…..”
“Why would you put that there? It looks so real.”
“What?  What are you….”
Looking down.
*Slams door in neighbor’s face*
“RUN!  It’s not fake!”

She ran across the street.
I grabbed my camera, and went outside through the garage.

Then there was a little drama that involved two mamas,
one husband, a host of neighborhood kids,
a shovel and a bee-bee gun.
And that’s the story of the day I had a baby rattlesnake on my doorstep.
Now I really need to go finish making dinner!
For more desert creature features involving the same wooden cross and my doorstep,
be sure to check out Frank, Fred, and Fran.

That well deserves an OMG! You are way braver than I am to have gone outside for photos. I have freaked out just finding a harmless little lizard in my house.

I’ve only found scorpions since living here. No rattlers yet.
